Notes for Thomas A. Ferguson

There is some discrepancy about his middle initial. It was either, A.,or E.
There is a membership card with his name on it.,T.E.Ferguson, Steam Fitters Protective Association. Jan.,Feb.,Mar.,1911. Chicago. (local branch no.2)
Also known that he lived at 3240 Indiana Ave.,Chicago, Illinoise, in 1917.
Died of gangrene of the lung (cancer?). Adopted son of A. H. Ferguson and Peninia Stallings.

Also, according to June (daughter), he was a farmer in Mississippi where he raised cotton on his rented 100 acre farm. He rode a gray horse over his property and there was a black church on the east edge of the property.

In 1925 when Thomas Ferguson died, the Fergusons and Hamiltons lived across the Quiver River from each other. East of Drew, MS toward Minnow City "Sixteen Section".
