Notes for Absalom Holland

Absalom served in the War of 1812. He probably enlisted at present Huntsville, Madison County, AL, on September 8, 1814 and served with his brother, Charles Miller Holland, in Captain William Johnson's Company of the 7th Battalion of Mississippi Militia.

First found on the 1840 Choctaw County Tax Roll, 1841 and 1850 Choctaw County Census.
