Leonard has worked at farming in early years and blacksmithing and mechanic and operated water well drilling equipment allows working for himself (owner)
Leonard & Eva have lived in and near Penrose since 1932 taking a homestead in 1932 about 5 or 6 miles from Penrose, Colorado.
Leonard and Eva bought and operated a blacksmith & repair shop in Penrose in 1942 and built their home in Penrose in 1958. (after homestead house burned in 1958) the house has been and is their home at the present time.
Leonard and Eva have attended the Assembly of God Church all their married lives.
